Light malty crisp, but not really Italian.

Rochdale Easter Ale Trail 2026, Beer#9. Clear golden coloured beer, about as basic as it gets without being a bad brew, you could make this sessionable. Ultimately a hoppy beer, but with a very mild sweetness. Found at the Empire bar and nightclub in the town. Not a beer destination, but part of the trail.

Clear golden pour without any trace of a head. On the sweetish side, but not mindblowing

It's definitely the start of the end of summer when you're ordering beers in August called Autumn Gold. It is a regular session golden style ale, nothing particularly away from the ordinary here.

Bottle from Home Bargains. My bottle states its from Signature Brands rather than LWC but both are Greater Manchester so probably part of the same company. Pours clear dark gold with thin white top. Malty aroma, a touch bready with hint of grass. Taste is quite sweet clean malts but there is enough grassy bitterness here to balance. Nice crisp carbonation bite that's not overdone. Not a bad non-Italian, Italian lager.

Draught at Spark, York. Sparkling, golden colour, thin white foam head and aroma of apple, fruit. Taste is sweet, apple, fruity, hint of sulphur, with some mellow acidity and light tannin. Medium bodied, spritzy carbonation, drying appley finish. Quite drinkable

Keg @ Borough Arms, Crewe. Dark brownish-red with an off-white creamy head. Bushy-floral nose with hints of dark malt. Its dark malt character is more evident in taste, but being a mild this never gets stated, nevertheless it's a decent enough mild ale brew.
