The brewery relocated late 2017 from Almond Road to its current location.
Today
Ten years later and much like other small breweries across the UK Partizan has faced tough trading conditions; namely the lasting effects of the pandemic, soaring inflation and increasing rent. To both protect Partizan and avoid chasing inflation and increasing prices, the brewery moved its production out of London in 2023 to a farm in Market Harborough in rural Leicestershire, locating it at long-time friends, Langton Brewery.
We are now expanding the brewery here, on the farm. By Spring 2024 we will have a new fermenter hall and a greater capacity than we ever had in London which will allow us to brew exciting new beers and to collaborate with old friends and new. Despite the draw of the countryside our roots are still in London and we will continue to meet the demands of our customers in the city that we still call home.

Bottle, at Haand Festival. It’s an unclear, brown beer topped by a minimal sized off-white head. The aroma is mostly roasted, with some toffee and pine cones. Mostly roasted flavor too, some bitterness bringing a bit of balance, and also the same toffee and pine cones found in the aroma. More or less full bodied, dryish and pleasantly carbonated. Bitter finish. A tasteful and easy drinkable beer, but not very exiting anyway. 130524

Bottle at home in London - picked up at the brewery. Pours lightly hazed gold with a creamy, off-white head. Nose holds pine needles, semi-ripe orange, some grapefruit. Medium sweet flavor, some sticky citrus fruits, a bit of randy bitterness, some pine needles. Medium bodied with fine carbonation. Mild sticky and resinous pine in the ending, pithy citrus, orange, tangerine and grapefruit, moderately sweet pale malts, faint grass. A very solid, very drinkable IPA.

Bottle at home in London - picked up at the brewery. Pours mostly clear, yellow-gold with a frothy white head. Lovely nose, filled with zesty lemon, tangerine and grapefruit. Light to medium sweet flavor with mildly pithy citrus, understated pale malts, juicy orange and tangerine. Light bodied with fine carbonation. Citrusy hops to finish, lightly bitter, lightly sweet, simple pale malts really let the juiciness of the hops do their thing. A great APA.

On tap at Haand Festival. It’s an almost clear one, yellowish-golden in color, and with a small, off-white head. The aroma has some maltyness in the back, but it’s the pine cones and citrus peel that play the leading roles. The flavor has a nice bitterness, both initially and in the end, with the same piney and citrusy flavors up front, and some pale malts as a backdrop. Medium to full body, dry, and with a soft carbonation. A refreshing and pleasant beer I could drink a whole lot of. 130525
