Gravity cask at Pigs Ear 2023, day 1 - London. Pours black-brown with a creamy tan head. Light sweet flavour with dry and lightly ashy roast, wood. Light bodied with fine carbonation. Drying and ashy finish, baking cocoa, more woody dryness. Tasty.

Cask at the pigs ear beer festival 2023. A opaque black brown coloured pour with a loose beige head. Aroma is semi sweet. Dungy earthy roast, liquorice, liquorice. Flavour is composed of semi sweet, nutty, woody, farmyard roast, nutty, dried fruit. Fruit and nut. Palate is semi sweet, oily, moderate carbonation. Good.

Pigs Ear. Cask. Almost clear dark brown beer, decent bubbly tan head. Palate is light and semi dry, quite thin, reasonable fine carbonation. Thinnish dark malts, some cocoa and mild roast. Modest ripe fruits. Light dry finish. Tasty enough.

Cask at the Quakerhouse, Darlington. Pours clear chestnut with a thin beige head. Aromas of toffee and nuts. Taste is more of the same. nicely rounded finish.

Third, cask at Quakerhouse. Shared with Finn. Patches on the surface. Misty golden body, spotty lacing. Restrained aromas of herbal hops. Malt-fruity flavours, doughy. Mid-sweet fruity end. Okay, but anonymous. (Darlington 29.01.2020).

Cask (gravity) @ NBF 2017 [ The 42th. Nottingham Beer Festival (The 10th Robin Hood Beer and Cider Festival) ], Nottingham Castle, Friar Lane, Nottingham, Nottinghamshire, England NG1 6EB. [ As Mithril Dere Street ].Clear medium amber orange colour with a small to average, frothy - fizzy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, pale malt, fruity malt, earthy, UK yeast. Flavor is moderate sweet with a average duration, pale malt, caramel, UK yeast, sweet malt. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft to flat. [20171014] 5-3-5-3-11

8/5/2108. Cask at the Old Vic, Darlington. Pours slightly hazy golden amber with an average sized off-white head. Aroma of tropical fruit, malt, citrus and grass. Medium sweetness, moderate bitterness, very slight hint of fruity sour. Moderate body, slight watery texture, soft carbonation. It's still ok!
