Half pour draft at Central Waters in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. The pour is an amber golden reddish with a small off white head that leaves behind nice lace. The aroma is full floral and fruit, resin, caramel malt and maybe some honey. The taste is big resin, softly dank floral, with nice fresh caramel malt carrying the back. The palate is medium bodied with soft natural carbonation and a dry resin clean finish.

Too boozy in a harsh way. Some vanilla and milk chocolate. Also mushrooms. Almost savoury. Good example of a beer that is not well balanced.

Malm March 2024 tasting - roasted and sweet dark malty with opulent chocolate, some caramel and fudge like sweet malty support, brown sugar, full bodied with a smooth mouthfeel, big bourbon hit into the warming malty close.
Thanks to Niels-Aage V. for this ?? sweet dark malty with lots of rich chocolate, sweet caramel, getting the roasted pecans on the nose, full bodied, coffee roast, vanilla and bourbon coming together into the sweet malty finish. Gorgeous.
Sweet malty with notes of caramel and dark dried fruit, toffee fudge, brown sugar, spice, bourbon soaked wooden accents coalesce with some vanilla sweetness into the dark malty boozy warming finish. Lovely.
