Description
We brew beer that is distinct because we believe that moments together call for something memorable. It could be our Midwestern roots, or the land we draw inspiration from, but crafting the right beer for the right moment is central to us.

Half liter dimpled mug at Central Waters in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. The pour is a golden amber with a small off white head with nice lace. The aroma is caramel malt, soft hay and grass. The taste is really clean marzen flavors - malt balanced nicely with grass and softly clove yeast. The palate is medium bodied with soft natural carbonation and a clean dry soft sweet malt finish. Nice Oktoberfest, glad I could try it again. 8,7,7,7,8 - 7.4

12 oz bottle purchased as part of a mix a six at Festival in Onalaska, Wisconsin. Bottled on SEP notched on label. The pour is a clear copper golden, slight ruby, with a one inch off white head. The aroma is rounded sweet caramel malt, maybe a soft cocoa with a hint of vanilla, and distant grass. The taste is sweet caramel malt, with the same touch of cocoa vanilla, and the grass shows a bit dirty in the back. The palate is medium bodied, with a lower carbonation level, and a silky mouth coating finish. Pretty straight forward malt sweet Oktoberfest. Nice enough. 8,7,6,6,7.5 - 6.6

A solid light tan head on a near black body. Nose features fresh coffee, cocoa and cream. A really we balanced IS, leading with fresh coffee, coffee grounds and cocoa. This might be the most powerful presentation of coffee tastes in an IS that I have ever had. With this taste I almost expect to be spitting out coffee grounds as I drink. Solid touches of caramel and roasted malt, and hints of cherry add to the profile. Medium, to medium/thin body with a less rich mouth feel than expected. Taste thins out a bit too quick as well, but still a nice effort.

A dense light tan head over a dark mahogany body. A big sweet nose with toffee, booze, dark berries and hops. If you like big sweet and fruity BWs, this one is for you. Dark molasses, crème brule, prunes, dark berries and fruity hops. A touch of oak and vanilla fill out the taste profile. A rich, creamy mouth feel. Stupendous.

Bottle at home. Opaque black color, full sized fizzy beige to light brown colored head that diminishes fairly quickly. Aroma is malts, sweetness, very odd cake notes. Flavor is similarly odd. Lightly malts, sweetness, odd, cake, candy, vanilla. Very weird mix, very sweet. Rum BA in there? Guess so but the flavor and aroma is so all over the place imo, that I'm confused. Too sweet for me. Drinkable, but not my kind of beer tbh.

(Draft at Biererei, Berlin, 14 July 2025) Black colour with creamy brown head. Malty, roasted nose with dark chocolate, espresso, soy sauce, bourbon and oak wood. Malty, roasted taste with notes of dark chocolate, sweet espresso, liquorice, soy sauce, bourbon, vanilla, oak wood and a balanced cacao bitterness. Full body, sweet. On the sweet and boozy side, but really rich and tasty, with a generous bourbon touch. Very nice.
