On draft at ATL airport. The darn IPA was empty. So this is what I had. They poured it into a big ‘ole tumbler glass. It looks clear copper with gold edges and off white head. The aroma is light with malty sweetness and what seems like a combination of citrus and floral hops. The taste comes off as crisp and fresh with mild malt sweetness that’s broken apart by floral hop bitterness and hints of citrus grapefruit hops.

Good and better than most of the style. Good hop aroma with citrus, plants, and salt. Medium sweet malt balanced by generous citrus-herbal hops. Dry, bitter finish.

Bottle from goldtwins - thanks! Pours a soft yellow with a modest white head and light lacing. Nose is mild of hops and maltiness. Taste is more hoppy (citrus) than expected for this style. A little grassey and malty, but a nice session ale nonethless.

Glad they changed the label on this one - that old one is...wow...holy shit...what can you say about that? Black body with a sparse dark brown head. Big roasty aroma with some chocolate and stinging alcohol. Fairly simple, burnt roast, peanut shells with a bit of alcohol and chocolate. Kind of watery as impies go. Bland, uninteresting, this ticks off a couple of the style’s requisite flavours but that’s all it does.

This is like a very light lager. It isn’t bad, there is a little malt flavor, but very light overall. The pilsner would have been more interesting. Very light hops in the finish.

Gold in color. Moderate carbonation. Hop aroma. Biscuity, bready malt body with some hops in the flavor. Very smooth and drinkable. Well balanced, if the flavors are understated.

Bottle. Sweet peach, malt, and pine hops aroma. Hazy orange-yellow with small head. Flavor matches aroma with hops the dominant flavor. Nice easy drinking beer - an excellent blond ale.

Georgia Brown is a very good brown ale. Light sweet malt in the aroma. Flavor has some brown sugar and malt as well, but the hops are far too light, even for a style that doesn’t require loads of hops.

12 oz. bottle from CaptainCougar. Pour is crystal clear yellow - golden with a head that starts medium, but goes away quickly. Aroma is hop floral aroma. Taste is very smooth, with a nice floral hoppiness. Nothing extraordinary, but very drinkable.
