Siren Craft Brew exists to encourage more people to enjoy, fall for and experiment with craft beer.
The Sirens of Greek mythology would entice mariners with their magical songs. Their voices would entwine into a complex, layered melody. At Siren Craft Brew, we work in a similar way, combining four ingredients that interact together in magical ways to create our ales. Bottle from NK Saluhall. Pours hazy orange with White head. Nice fruity hop aroma. Good body for a low abv beer, hoppy but a bit too bitter from NZ type hops.

Bottle from Cotteridge Wines; light amber pour with foamy off white head, aroma is very fruity tropical hops, a fruit medley comes through in the taste orange, pineapple, a hint of grapefruit, sweet honey and solid malt backbone.

Cask, gravity at Hangi, in field between Charlton-on-Otmoor and Oddington, Oxon on Saturday 5th October 2013 Pours mid amber with a light haze, white head. A little grassy on nose initially but then a punchy grapefruit aroma comes through. Really fruity and juicy in mouth, lots of pink grapefruit flavours are chiefly present amongst a big citrussy hit, also quite dry. Devilishly moreish, nice bittersweet balance this is a great beer to have as one of your core range. A8 A3 T8 P4 Ov16 3.9

Draught @ CBC2013. Pours amber with a frothy beige head that slowly dissipates while leaving a small soapy trace on the glass. Smell is fruity with bread, grapefruit juice, orange/lemon peal, grapefruit rinds, grass, pine, resinous wood and caramel. Taste is heavy bitter with caramel, grapefruit rinds, lemon/orange peal, grass, soil, resinous wood and hints of black currant leaves and lemon balm. Mouthfeel is soft, heavy astringent and light to medium bodied. Finish is bitter with lemon/orange peal, grapefruit rinds, grass, pine and hints of caramel.

Smell is fruity with bread, pineapple, papaya, grapefruit juice, grass, pine needles, lemon zest, soil, moist wood and hints of caramel. Taste is bitter, fruity and tiny malty with bread, biscuits, grapefruit juice, pine needles, freshly cut grass, moist soil, resinous wood and hints of caramel, shampoo and raisins. Mouthfeel is round, soft, slightly oily bitter, tiny astringent and medium bodied. Finish is bitter with biscuits, grapefruit rinds, grass, pine, resinous wood, soil and lemon zest. Quite good for a malty IPA...

From tap at Ale&Hop, Barcelona. Pitch black coloured, small brown coloured, coffee/chicory nose. Roasted malt, coffee/chicory and dark chocolate with subdued notes of smoke. Mild carbonation with dry chocolate/coffee finish. Let’s say this one could be balanced more but all in all ok stout.

Aroma of sweet fruity malts, soft vague resinous hop, getting a hint of corn, some alcohol
Taste of sweet malts, soft bitter citrus hops, not getting corn in flavour, quite boozy

Overall - Quite decent, bit boozy, didn’t really wow me

330ml bottle. Pours a dirty brown amber colour, frothy white head leaving alittle lacing and aroma of mango, pineapple, sweet peach, citrusy fruit cordial. Taste is caramel with juicy tropical fruit, floral notes and pine, grapefruit citrus rind, hop resin bitterness. Smooth soapy mouthfeel, light to medium bodied, soft carbonation, dry lingering bitter finish. Very drinkable IPA.

Keg at King Billy IV. It pours cloudy orange with a small white head. The nose is juicy orange, floral, bruised strawberry, earth and some tomato. The taste is creamy, orange, grapefruit, juicy fruit, pine, toast, spice, earth, tomato and resin with a crisp finish. Medium body and fine carbonation. Interesting and pretty tasty stuff.
