Can 440ml (Hoptimaal)
Amber colour, steady beige head. Aroma of pine and some fruits. Light to medium-bodied. Malts, tea, caramalt in the flavour. BB 270326 so maybe this is 8 months old. Hops have disappeared.

440ml can. Poured a hazy dark brown colour with a thin broken off-white head. The aroma is big salted toffee caramel, malty dough. The flavour is moderate sweet, light liquorice bitter, with a smooth, rich, banana, toffee, warm boozy alcohol bitter palate. Over medium bodied with soft carbonation.

Murky dark brown with floaters and a beige head. Raspberry aroma. Dark chocolate. Burnt chestnuts. Interesting. Taste is bittersweet with subtle tart undertones. Very nice balance actually. Surprisingly thin body, and the lack of chewiness given the style is the only flaw here. Moderate carbonation. Good.

Dark gold and clear with lasting head. Aroma is a bit grassy as is the taste. Rounded hop bitterness and a background pale malt note. It's ok but nothing more than that. More like a hoppy Pils. A bit thin. Disappointing

Can shared. Brown with tan head. Doesn't look like a stout. Massive burnt peanuts, artificial peanut aroma, alcohol, caramel, sweet blueberries, a hint of banana, bitter chemical notes and burnt things. Over medium sweet and long lasting nasty bitter finish. Over medium bodied. Very weird, also I don't get much banana.
