Established in 2004

Courtesy of bierkoning, ty Edo! Hazy dark brown, muddy color, small brownish head. Good smokey-malty nose. Nicely balanced, a bit sweetish and toffeish malty beer with got amount of smoke, burned birchwood and tar. Not much behind of Schlenkerla, long smokey - not too tarry - aftertaste.

Draft @ Pint BBF 2007. Best of the festival imho. Like more of the bockbeers from this brewery at that time it was very German oriented, not too sweet with solid bitterness. According to the brewer due to the proximity of the brewery to Germany.
