Sample at Collaboration Fest on 03/21/2015. Pours a dark brownish-amber color with a medium off-white head that recedes steadily. Sticky patches of lacing. Aroma of malt, dark fruit and yeast. Medium to full body with flavors of caramel malt, ripe fruits and earthy yeast. The finish is fruity with a fig and yeast aftertaste. Pretty good all around.

On tap @ Grimm Brothers. Pours a deep brown / black appearance with a light brown head. Definitely some roast and ashy smoke in the aroma. Clove, cinnamon, and nutmeg are also prevalent. Slightly low carbonation. Banana, apple, and pear fruity notes in the flavor. Moderate light sweetness. Low bitterness. Kind of an interesting brew.
