Description
We, as The Sisters Brewery, are a team of two sisters, Annamijn and Josefien, along with our father, Wilfran Beijeman. Together we have a great passion for brewing strong craft beers and to combine them with art. We like to say that we create an artwork out of the inside and outside of every bottle. For the perfect end result, we work together with (mainly female) artists. With our labels, we like to represent the human being in all it's various ways, and in it's purest form. By making a combination between traditional recipes and our own modern view, we create an authentic taste and atmosphere. The authenticity of our beers is not only evident in our recipes and flavours, but can also be found in the labels and names of our beers. Each beer that The Sisters Brewery offers includes its own philosophy, story and high standards. Our aim is to deliver a piece of art with every beer produced. The inspiration for the names of our beers come from our surname; Beijeman, which means Beekeeper in Dutch. All the names of our beers have something to do with bees and beekeeping. This focus on bees can also be found in our main logo.

Bottle. Color: Clear in between copper and amber, thin beige head. Aroma: Fruity peach, sweetish Sherry, Whiskey hints. Taste: Fruity grape and peach, some date, sweet Sherry, spicy hints of the Rye. A little Whiskey, getting more present at the finish. Over moderate sweet, moderate tart and little bitterness. Dry mouthfeel. Over medium to full body, below average carbonation. Well balanced, great complexity. A lot of flavors to explore in each sip. Very likeable.

Bottle shared thanks to Linda. Hazy golden with big white head. Soft malts, CO2, light funk, indeed some dry wine notes, tangerine, light flowery. Almost medium sweet and bitter. Full bodied with strong sparkly carbonation and slight dry finish. Not a lot of aroma actually, but quite drinkeable.

330ml bottle. Opalescent, redd-ish, dark copper colour with average, frothy, moderately lasting, minimally lacing, off-white head. Sweet-ish, malty fruity and yeasty fruity aroma, notes of red berries, dried fruit, raisin, prune, fig, date, some honey as well, whiffs of almond, marzipan, nougat (Türkischer Honig). Taste is sweet fruity and dry hoppy, notes of red berries and dried fruit, raisin, some plum, a touch of grape sugar, nougat, honey (Türkischer Honig), some almond; (except for its bitterness) neutral hoppy counterpart, minimally papery overtones; well hidden alcohol. Dissolved sugar enriched, nevertheless rather watery texture, surprisingly light body, dry, simultaneously cloying palate, medium, mildly prickly carbonation. Well hidden, nevertheless efficacious alcohol, balanced and homogeneous - better than expected.
