As Fadlagret Imperial Stout. black color, small coffee colored head. smells earthy, tobacco, lightly smoky, some sweetness, nutty, smells like a Doppelbock. ok smell. full body, soft to light carbonation, slick mouthfeel. tastes earthy, tobacco, licorice, light molasses, grassy. finishes light to medium bitter with notes of tobacco, earthy notes and licorice. nothing I would consider as an Imp Stout. In local terms more like an Doppelbock and even an oldish one, heavy on the tobacco and earthy notes. Not a fan.
