A reddish amber ale with a thin lacing mocha head . In aroma, grassy caramel malt with light grassy hops, light coffee grind, interesting. In mouth, a nice caramel malt with loads of coffee grind, musty character, grassy hops, interesting twist on abbey meets coffee. On tap at North Country Brewfest 2016.

A reddish burgundy Weissbier with a thin white head. In aroma, sweet fruity cherry pulp with light mineral, light lactic notes, light herbaceous character, hibiscus juice, nice. In mouth, a nice tart mineral malt with light hibiscus, herbals, light lemony notes, nice and refreshing. On tap at North Country Brewfest 2016.

Bottle. Pours a hazy light orange gold with a white head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has a light sour fruit note with a light funk, a bunch of straw and a bit of light oakiness underlying. Flavor has tons of straw with some light fruits and a bit of oak.

750 c&c from Capitol Beer in Sacramento, CA. Pours gold with a foamy white head. Aroma is pleasantly mild brett with notes of zest and spice. Full bodied (lots of carbonation helping here). Flavor is mild brett, zest, spice/pepper wrapped up in an earthiness. It’s very smooth and pleasant tasting. The flavors are marvelous, and not harsh or overstated. Finishes a bit towards sour, well towards earth, and fairly zestish. Pepper stands out throughout. Amazing ale.

Can from Bine & Vine. Pours lightly coppery gold with a white head. Aroma is mostly light stone fruit with some citrus. Not getting malt. Med + body (firm carbonation!). Flavor matches aroma, with some earthy/leathery/tobacco aspects - must be the malt coming in. So each quaff begins with fruits, and goes on to the rather unexpected flavors. Actually this is rather amazing ale. I’m really liking it. If marooned on desert island with only a supply of this for beer, I’d feel blessed. Oh yes.

Aroma is moderate malty, pale malt, sweet malt, moderate hoppy - yeasty, grass, fruity. Flavor is moderate sweet and bitter with a average to long duration, fruity, sweet malt - yeast, pale malt. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. [20151228]

Bottled. Deep amber colour, with a mediumsized fluffy off-white head. Aroma is fruity, floral, quite sweet malty with some toffee and mild toasted notes. Also a bit spiciness and some ripe fruits to it. Flavour is fruity, floral, some toffee, mild biscuity notes as well as some spices and mild wooden notes. Quite much bitterness toward the finish as well.
