Description
Castle Brewery, a small batch brewery based in the ancient town of Lostwithiel by the banks of the River Fowey. High tech 'all in one' brewing of traditional ales.
Our philosophy is to brew the tastiest beers with the finest ingredients, sourced locally, where possible. The beers are made using the latest technology enabling consistent brewing on a small scale. This also allows us to brew some less mainstream beers. To make them ‘all inclusive’ they are unfined and naturally hazy, making them suitable for vegetarians/vegans. Recycling and re-using is also important to us, as we are a small microbrewery.

Bottle. A small, dense, light beige head forms over an almost clear dark amber body with some floaties. The aroma is sourish and malty, with some coffee and dark chocolate. Medium body, quite dry and acidity. Sourish flavor with biscuits, dark chocolate and coffee. Lemony, biscuity and coffee-ish finish. A beer that definitely has seen better days. 130216
