Can from Drankenhandel Leiden. Dark and roasty aroma with dark chocolate, coffee, roasted malt, hint of liquorice. Just the fundamentals. Moderate bittersweet flavour, full body. Nice to get a non-adjunct Stout from Moer for a change.

440ml can at Benny’s place, Kuala Lumpur. Poured almost black in colour with a thin broken tan head. The aroma is roasty, bid salty bacon, peaty. The flavour is moderate liquorice bitter, with a smooth, rich, roasty, chocolate, spicy coffee, big liqourice bitter palate. Full bodied worn with soft carbonation. Canned 14/04/2026. First can with scratch ticket! Murky orange colour, small steady white head and lace. Citrus, tropical fruits in the nose but also quite bready aroma. Medium-bodied. Citrus, some hops oils, tropical fruits like mango. Mellow but same time feels older than one month.

Can from Havnens Vin og Tobakhus. Pours opaque dark reddish brown with small white head. Aroma is nuts, syrup, malt, prunes, raisins, roasted chestnuts, and hints of spice. Taste is medium sweet, light to medium bitter, light acidic, and faint salty. Body is oily with medium carbonation. Finish is long and balanced sweet and bitter with notes of malt, syrup, nuts, spice, raisins, port wine, black currants, and biscuits.
