Bottle at home in Hackney - picked up from a bottle shop a few years ago. Perhaps not surprisingly, this one gushed. Pours mostly clear deep orange-gold with a foamy white head that dies out quickly. Pleasant smokey notes in the aroma. Interesting flavour, moderately sweet, with rich smokey character, some ham, lightly toasted bread, nips of citrus fruit. Light bodied with lively carbonation. Subtly tangy in the finish, lightly drying, some more smoke, campfire, bread. Novel.

Bottle shared in Hackney - cheers! Pours mostly clear deep orange with a creamy, white head. The aroma holds dry, bready pale malts, some tangerine, meringue. Light-medium sweet flavour with ever so slightly tangy citrus fruits, a little dough, more meringue, faint cereal. Light in body with average carbonation. Finishes with mellow sweetness, lightly toasted cereal, a little tangerine peel. Not bad overall. Interesting beer.

Keg at LBL. It pours hazy orange - amber with a medium white head. The aroma is rather interesting...fresh, fragrant, floral, juicy, tangy orange citrus, peachy, black tea, brioche and biscuit. The taste is rich, oily, slick, tart, tangy, orange peel, kumquat, sherbet, fragrant, bread, Light tannin, and biscuit with an oily finish. Medium body, fine carbonation and a weirdly viscous mouth - feel. Really like the aroma but the beer is oddly viscous and oily. Unique.

Keg at LBL. It pours clear golden - amber with a medium white head. The aroma is big jasmine tea character, fragrant, floral, herbal, spice and some juicy stone fruits. The taste is crisp, dry, bitter - sweet, rather floral, jasmine tea, grass, straw, stone fruit and tannin with a drying finish. Medium body and soft carbonation. Definitely better than expected. Well realised.
