Maplewood’s patrons have come to expect expertly crafted beer in a wide range of styles.

Pour is a clear brown with a large white head. Aroma is a nice toasted bread with some chocolate malt. Flavor is honey on toasted whole wheat bread. A little bitterness comes out on the back end. Not a traditional vienna but tasty none the less.

19 September 2022. At Chicago Brewhouse Riverwalk. Shared with the lovely Anke!
Hazy yellow, small, frothy, white head. Aroma of fresh guava, peach, tangerine, passion fruit, dough, yoghurt, orange juice, shallot. Taste has sweet peach & tangerine, sourish guava & lime over oaty, doughy maltiness. Softly bitter finish of earthy, grapefruity hops, lingering citrus pith and juicy stonefruit. Medium to full body, creamy texture, soft carbonation. Excellent stuff, so fresh, juicy yet balanced.
