Light haze on this orange amber beer, small pale cream colour head. Smooth palate, semi dry, reasonable fine carbonation. Sweetish malts, somewhat thin, a little creamy caramel. Touch of orangey dried fruits. Very mild brandy. Tea? Maybe, if you are looking for it, cocoa, no, not even if you are. Tidy but now’t special. That said, I do appreciate this brewery bothering to brew barleywines when the vast majority can’t be arsed.
