Keg at Waterloo Tap. Nil aroma. Very thin gold. Bubbly white head. Light bitter. Herby veg. Medium bodied. Slick aided by soft carbonation. Abrupt finish. As per their blurb it is inoffensiveley drinkable but a snooze fest.

Tap at Waterloo Tap. Nil aroma. Hazy medium gold. Thin translucent white head. The sourness builds. At first I was going to describe it as light sour but on subsequent mouthfuls it gains strength. Up to medium. However it is that, just sour. Medium bodied. Slick. Fizzy carbonation. Long dry surprisingly not overly astringent finish. Decent enough if all sour and not much character.

Cask* at Waterloo Tap. Vague citrus aroma. Hazy pale gold. Frothy white head. It is juicy - low key sour and bitter with some underlying umami. Medium bodied. Slick but thin mouthfeel. Flat. Long somewhat dry finish. Bland. *Just realised it's from cask which may explain things.

Keg at the Waterloo Tap, 01/03/19. Extremely dark mahogany brown to light black with a decent khaki cap. Nose is mellow roast, tobacco, charr, treacle toffee, dark chocolate, liquorice. Taste carries a roasted bite, dried fruits, charr, light spice, dark malts, cocoa sprinkle. Medium bodied with bite, fine carbonation, semi drying close with a balanced warming kiss of alcohol. Decent well balanced Baltick ... best beer to date for me from these guys by some distance.

Keg at Waterloo Tap. Malt chocolate and instant coffee aroma. Dark. But thin looking. Not helped by the whispy light beige head. Light-medium bitter with some sweetness: rich and chocolatey. Thick bodies. Creamy. average-flat carbonation. Long finish with an astringent boozy bite. Initial impressions were lacking but I really like this but it's so rich that a half is enough! I'm feeling quite bloated so may well not finish it but am still going to score highly. Pity this place doesn't do thirds.
