Bottled. Dark brown, small head. Strong medicinal aroma. Sweetish and medium bodied with clean mouthfeel. Dominated by herbal spices and medicin. Despite it’s size it feels light. An odd beer that fails to make a real impact.

A hazy orange beer with no head. THe aroma is sweet malty with a slight burnt and artisenal character. The flavor is sweet combined with a hint of acidity hiding in the back ground - but the acidity grows in strength towards the end. It also has notes of berries. Very micro-brewed - in the amateur sense.

(Bottle 50 cl) Pours a slightly hazy amber golden with a creamy, beige head. A light tartness to be detected in the nose - with a hint of nuts. Surprisingly thin body with some nuts and roasted malt - and then a vague, ashy edge. And underneath everything you find the typical, infected Ribe tartness. I believe they’ve got a serious problem. Dry finish. 280906

A brown beer with a thin brown head. The aroma is weird with notes of wood and a light spice presence of which ginger stands out. The flavor is sweet with primary notes of vegetables, combined with a hint of acidity.

Bottled (BB 11/2006). Thanks Papsoe. Hazy, red-brown color, small tan head. Yeasty, fruity, roasty-chocolaty aroma. Yeasty, dry, some dark fruits, acidy, a bit unfermented maybe. Not very solid brown ale.

(Bottle 50 cl) Clear, dark orangey brown with an off-white head. Lightly tart, roasted malt aroma. Fairly full body with lots of roasted malts and a slightly ashy edge. Weak underlying tartness, but ends without much bitterness. 290806

(Bottle 50 cl) Hazy, amber golden with a fizzy, dissipating head leaving no traces. Lightly acidic, fruity nose with a whiff of yeast. Medium-bodied and fruity with notes of caramel. Fine balance between sweetness and acidity. Very subdued - if not to say absent - bitterness. Pleasant - but not exactly thriling. 190806
