50 cL bottle. Pours dark brown, hazy, and with a creamy/crispy tan head. Sweet malt to light breadish aroma. Mild roasted malt flavour with a very minor infection note of lacto bacteria - but quite minor. Mild breadish and dry flavour following, shows caramel and chocolate flavours. Goes into a light dry breadish finish with a vague note of bitterhops. Not bad as such, yet the composition holds too much English bitterhops compared to the caramel/chocolate flavours - doesn’t work for me.

50 cL bottle. Pours black with a dense creamy and tan head. Aroma is initially a bit chalky, shows a light roasted and chocolate malt following this. Flavour is light acidic and almost fruity swept in roasted malt and chocolate. Minor toffee sweetness to this. Light roasted chocolate malt finish. Not too bad really, I don’t get the low ratings on this as this clearly must have improved over the years.

Bottled. Dark ruby, small brief head. Fruity nose with strawberries and resin. Sweet and medium bodied. Crystal malt profile but with the addition of chewy cookies. More esters than hops, but the solid maltiness is keeping it pleasant. Fairly low bitterness.

Hazy chestnut color; big creamy head. Strong spicy aroma (cinnamon over all) and strange fruitness (raisins and oranges, somehow). Medium body, strong caramel flavor, quite dry at the end, and some spices; it’s also soapy and artificial, with a touch of yeast. Chaotic and unbalanced.
