Picked this up at a supermarket not far from Lokkeren, Denmark sat drinking this in Frank (Camper) Thorsminde campsite West Jutland 20-09-08 Pours black with tight off white head ceamy head. Some creamy coffee, dark fruits and maltiness. This is just a little bit thin at times and overall a thoroughly pleasant beer. Reminded me of the Lokken beer I tried last night.

Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, moderate hoppy, spicy - juniper berry. Flavor is moderate sweet and bitter with a average to long duration. 50 cL bottle. Pours hazy orange with a lacing white head. Aroma like wet cardboard and mild spiced malty aroma. Sweet ad malty base flavour with a light bitterness coming through. Mildly spiced and light hoppy finish with a delicate bitterness coming through.

Bottled. Amber colour, small beige head. aroma is fruits, some nectar, mild alcohol as well as some mild grassyness. Flavour is very much the same. A bit watery, but yet balanced.

Bottle at Chris_o Pre GBBF Shindig 08. Clear copper, thin beige head. A little musty on aroma. It’s a little empty and plain. Some citrus hop fruit on end.

Bottled. A hazy dark golden beer with a medium fluffy off-white head. The aroma is sweet with notes of dusty hops and elderberry flowers, very English, but also with a hint of juniper berries. The flavor is sweet malty with strong notes of dusty hops and elderberry flowers, as well as a cloying note of honey - and something else - could it be a poor whiskey. The honey note grows towards the end and contains notes of heather, leading to a sweet bittter honey finish. Cloying - not me.
