3/8/2022. Cask at GBBF 2022, day 2. Pours very dark brown with a small bubbly/frothy beige head. Aroma of light roasted malt, milk chocolate, prunes, vanilla, oat biscuit, raspberry, slight ashy edge. Medium sweetness, light bitterness, touch of fruity tartness. Moderate body, slightly creamy, very soft carbonation.

Can from Lidl Inverurie. It pours clear bright golden - blonde with a thick, fluffy white head. The aroma is toasty pale grain, biscuit, cereal, grass, floral vibes and sweet white bread. The taste is crisp, firmly dry, snappy, floral, grass, toasty pale grain, cereal, slightly soapy, sweet white bread, light spice and biscuit with a drying finish. Absolutely fine. Drinks well, but won't get you super excitable!

Cask at GBBF '22 day 2, 03/08/22. Light black with a decent tan covering that escapes edgewards. Nose is is dark malts, chocolate biscuit, oats, rich roast. Taste comprises dried fruits, chocolate, hint of liquorice, spice, roasted bite. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, light drying close. Tasty stout.

Cask at GBBF '22 day 4, 05/08/22. Clear golden with a good sized lasting just off white head. Nose is toasted grains, mellow citric peel, soft malts, grass. Taste comprises tangerine, grass, melon, soft malts, straw. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, semi drying close. Decent enough golde.
