Our biggest mission when we set up BrewDog was to make other people as passionate about great craft beer as we are. And that is still our biggest mission today.

440ml can from Morrisons and drank in my back garden on 12th August 2026, waiting for the eclipse of the sun. This hazy golden bodied brew was taken with my evening meal of Strong Cheddar, Young Gouda, mustard and celery salt, Tuc biscuits, chrisps, gurkins and tomatoes. They all came together nicely. Beer was OK too, fruity, boozy and interesting.

Can direct from Brewdog online. It pours crystal clear yellow - gold with a thick with a thick, fluffy white head. The aroma is soft, mellow, bready, soft, lemon sherbets, sweet lime, soda water with lime and rich tea biscuit. The taste is crisp, dry, clean, fairly sweet, very light, soft, candied lemon, soda water with lime, icing sugar, grain, rich tea biscuit and custard creams with a short, soft finish. Light body and moderate+ fluffy carbonation. Easy chugging, but not a lot of flavour to it.

Near opaque dark brown beer, small bubbly dark tan head. Smooth start to the palate, a little viscous. Late emerging fine minerally carbonation. Smooth dark malts, a fairly rich chocolate vibe, some dark malt cream. Tangy ripe fruits. A little floral spice and ripe fruits, touch of very ripe plum. Smooth finish brings alcohol warmth and spice.Rich and smooth and drinks reasonably well for its hefty abv. I was expecting a little more depth of flavour

Draft at Dogtap. It pours clear golden - amber with a medium fluffy white head. The aroma is soft, bitter - sweet , spicy, fragrant, pine, woody, fruity, orange marmalade, lychee, watermelon, bubblegum, spice and baked goods. The taste is crisp, dry, snappy, pleasing bitterness.which lingers, some rawness, metallic twang, touch grassy, piney, toffee/caramel, nip of booze, pithy, zesty, grapefruit, waxy peel, peppery spice with a drying, bitter finale. Medium body and moderate, foamy carbonation. I prefer this to the current punk, but it doesn't quite hit the clarity and brightness of some of the early days of this.

Clear golden pour with a decent white head. Aroma malt, passion fruit, mango, grapefruit, pine, some more tropical fruit. Taste is quite similar. Not bad (and for a good cause).

Near opaque dark brown beer, a good and persistent bubbly tan head. Airy palate, a very mild dryness, decent superfine carbonation on the back end. Airy dark malts, a little dark malt cream. Touches of chocolate and coffee but, they are very much second fiddle to the maple barrel. The maple is rich, fruity and a tad savoury and, thankfully swerves the cloying sweetness it sometimes brings. The Cognac barrel is, unfortunately, also a lesser partner. It does deliver that smooth cognac unsweet caramel ripe fruit thing on the back end but, for me needed a lot more presence to balance out the maple. A relatively light abv suggests well used barrels or a shorter time spent in them. Was this one of the last Dog beers? It's good but perhaps a portent that things were not as good as they should be

Pretty much an opaque dark brown beer, good bubbly tan head that lasts for a minute or more. Smooth palate, soft and slightly viscous - silky, decent superfine carbonation on the back end. Soft smooth rich dark malts. Nice soft dark malt cream, a little chocolate that is around 65/35 dark to milk ratio. Soft but rich espresso coffee underneath. Nice rounded rich bourbon soaked ripe fruits. A mild smoke and a mild itch from the chillis, really just another dimension rather than the main event, thank the Lord! Don't notice the 15% abv really. Yet another reminder of what we have lost. When Brewdog were great, they were up there in the world premier division but, they ended up getting kicked out of Scottish 22nd division for financial irregularities. Ye gods!
