Description
Beer creates great excitement. It looks simple, but it actually hides many secrets. Every craft beer causes impatience before the tasting and enjoyment when you are revisiting the flavor. Its diversity of taste, aroma, texture and color is huge, sometimes it seems endless.

We consider ourselves to be passionate gourmets. We are searching for new and unusual tastes, while aiming to offer the highest quality craft beers from the selected ingredients, thus we have created Kabinet Brewery. Our beers are produced in Nemenikuće on a sunny slope at a foot of the mountain Kosmaj.

Our wish is that Kabinet Brewery, as a Cabinet of curiosities(*), gathers in one place all the amazing tastes and smells of the beer world that has long inspired us. Welcome to Kabinet Brewery.

(*) The Cabinet of curiosities or wonders– a collection of distinctive, unique items, all that is rare, strange and precious, the finest handicrafts, natural wonders, usually received and gathered from the exotic travel as an examples of the natural, geological, religious, ethnological and artistic value.

Bottle sample at the Great British Beer Festival in Belgrade. Tiebreaker. Brown color, beige head. Aroma of soft, sweet roast. Taste is roasty coffee grounds. Plain but inoffensive.

Re-tasted at the brewery on 09/25/2014. Quality has improved much. Not my favorite Kabinet but decent...now. Purchased and open in Serbia, 0,33 bottle. Oily black colour, very thin beige foam which quickly dissipates. Nose: tons of licorice, unpleasant tartness, medicine. Mouth: annoying tartness, bitter medicine syrup...I think it is infected! Is this a Porter? I could not drink it! ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle in Peja courtesy of ippopotamo36, grazie! Cloudy variegated golden orange color, tan head with good retention and lacing. Malty aroma with cereal, light biscuit, orange peel, subtle lemon. Taste is malt forward and sweet, lots of residual sugar I think.

Bottle courtesy of ippopotamo36 , thanks! Extra appearance point because I like the name of this one. Clear bright golden color, fluffy tan head with good retention and solid lacing. Light floral aroma, subtle perfume and herbs. Taste is bitter lemongrass, straw. Too bitter and not enough aroma for me for an APA.

Bottle courtesy of ippopotamo36, thank you sir! Hazy to cloudy yellow color, bright white head, delicate lacing. Aroma has huge banana and citrus bubblegum, subtle spice. Taste has mostly spice, coriander and subtle nutmeg, with some pepper and lemon. Not bad.

Purchased in Belgrade, consumed in Kosovo. Pours yellow, bit hazy, white minimal foam. Nose: spicy, peppery, grainy, lemon, bit of banana. Mouth: highly carbonated (a bit too much), but nice. There is a nice lemony feel and some sourness. Best Kabinet! ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Updated since last tasting on 09/25/2014 at the brewery. Much better, problems mostly fixed. Now the beer stays round and it is in style. Bottle purchased in Serbia. Pours very dark orange going amber, very hazy and with sediments in the glass. The foamy head off-white and consistent with big bubbles. Nose: pungent hoppy notes, chicory, amber malts and metal. Mouth: something’s wrong in the fermentation of this beer, there is a very unpleasant tartness and no character (metal). It needs to improve (sadly it looks the outcome of an inexperienced home brewer). ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle in Serbia. Totally hazed color, orange, white long lasting foamy head leaving interesting lace on the glass. Aroma of resin hops, pine, lime, acidic notes. High carbonation, medicine basic notes, lack of character: very tart, some yeast. Not bad for a Serbian craft which slowly improves. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
