Description
Beer creates great excitement. It looks simple, but it actually hides many secrets. Every craft beer causes impatience before the tasting and enjoyment when you are revisiting the flavor. Its diversity of taste, aroma, texture and color is huge, sometimes it seems endless.
We consider ourselves to be passionate gourmets. We are searching for new and unusual tastes, while aiming to offer the highest quality craft beers from the selected ingredients, thus we have created Kabinet Brewery. Our beers are produced in Nemenikuće on a sunny slope at a foot of the mountain Kosmaj.
Our wish is that Kabinet Brewery, as a Cabinet of curiosities(*), gathers in one place all the amazing tastes and smells of the beer world that has long inspired us. Welcome to Kabinet Brewery.
(*) The Cabinet of curiosities or wonders– a collection of distinctive, unique items, all that is rare, strange and precious, the finest handicrafts, natural wonders, usually received and gathered from the exotic travel as an examples of the natural, geological, religious, ethnological and artistic value.

17/II/15 - 33cl bottle @ home - BB: 13/XII/14 (oops!) (2015-229) Thanks to Makroijelena for the bottle!
Little hazy deep blond to orange beer, huge creamy yellow head, little stable, adhesive. Aroma: lots of oranges, orange blossom, orange juice, soapy, bit piny, a bit off as well. MF: lots of carbon, medium body. Taste: fruity start, soapy, pretty bitter, orange zest, bit resinous, some cabbages. Aftertaste: soapy, unpleasant, orange peel, pretty bitter, little chemical, lemony. I've been generous with the scores, since I drank this beer past BB date, but even then, there's brewing errors in there which shouldn't be.

At the Beersville Store in Belgrade, courtesy of Vlada the Great! Ciao Vlada. Pours a completely cloudy orange peel colour, with a gassy white head. Nose: tropical fruit, peach, melon, general berry, very mild herbal character. Mouth: does not mirror the nose, frizzy, gassy and a bit too bitter but mild in taste. Another regular Kabinet!

Bottled 330ml. -Courtesy of markoijelena (thanks!). Murky orange/golden coloured, small to medium sized off-white head, citrusy vanilla nose. Big chunks of sediment all over the glass. Sweetish malty, mild spicy, yeasty and fruity with notes of vanilla, caramel and fruits. Easy-drinkable, not bad at all.

Love the design on this one, thanks Ogi (& Marko Mi.?)! Poured an enormous white head on top of a misty golden body. Dusty malty aroma, vague aroma hops, more malty than hoppy taste. Where. Is. Citra!? Veeeery veeery vague lemony note in the taste. Too weak, too subtle, even for an APA. Lower score just for toying with people’s expectations.

Thanks Ogi (and Marko Mi.?). Poured a murky opaque orange/amber body with a ton of floaties. Lasting small thick white head. Nice, smooth citrus & vanilla spicy aroma, juicy, spice over caramel. Yeasty taste, caramel, perfumey, some vague notes of oranges. Solid bitterness really. OK I guess, the aroma was nice, but the taste kinda flopped after that - far from bad though! A very nice first try at a Belgian ale!

Kabinet Wit pours a somewhat cloudy gold with a seriously massive head of foam. This beer has my least favorite label from Kabinet as along with the Vista IPA it doesn’t follow the others aesthetic. Then again this was the only 500ml bottle I got as well. Served in a weizen glass, the nose is initially a bit earthy before settling into a more floral bubblegum & lighlt fruity clove aroma. That floral bubblegum brings to mind that mini-chiclet type purple gum. Smooth soft pillowy texture but the flavor is of a beer that has gone off - a bit metallic with a bitter chalk finish that overlays fruity/floral & clove flavors. Drinkable but am not sure if it has gone bad or if it is supposed to taste this way. It grows on you but remains off. My least favorite Kabinet beer. A shame to end my tasting on this one but oh well, c’est la vie...

Bottled 330ml. -at Miner’s Pub Beograd. Darker golden coloured, medium sized white head, mild grassy nose. Malty, weak herbal hoppy, lemony and fruity with touch of caramel in the finish. Almost out of BBE so I have to try it fresh.

On tap at Miner’s Pub Beograd. Hazy yellow/golden coloured, small creamy white head, fruity hoppy nose. Moderate malty, fresh fruity hoppy, notes of oranges and spices with pretty strong bitterness in the finish and aftertaste. Really good one from Kabinet.
