Cloudy amber beer with a thin creamy head. Hop and grapefruit aroma. Taste is very grapefruity and there is a smokey and nutty edge.

Cask at the Holborn Whippet - London. Pours clear, deep gold with a sturdy, frothy foam head. Nose holds a good bit of ripening citrus, some toasty grass and pine, toasty bread. Medium sweet flavor with punchy piney bitterness, grass, dirt, orange rind, some sweet and lightly toasted bread. Medium bodied with fine, creamy carbonation. Some good and tesinous hops to finish, a bit of sticky sweetness, further orange rind, lightly toasted bread. Pretty ballsy stuff on the whole.

Aroma: Light and fruity. Lemon, pineapple and grain.
Appearance: Hazy golden body with a faint white head that quickly fades. No carbonation. Very light lacing.
Taste: Grapefruit, orange and pale malt. Lovely soft flavours - so easy to drink. Gentle bitterness.
Palate: Thin body with a watery texture. Soft carbonation.
Overall: Really moreish - I could drink this like water. Juicy, fruity and surprisingly flavoursome for its low ABV.

Cock Tavern. Keg. Chalked pump clip just says IPA 8.1% so I am assuming this is the correct beer. Light haze on this gold - amber beer. Little white head. Palate is slightly viscous with prickly carbonation. Smooth but thin creamy malt. Hops start sweet, a little peach and apricot syrup. Turns much more bitter with grapefruit and pith coming through. Finishes with resinous pine and more fruits. Initially a bit sweet but then the complexities opened up. Not bad at all.

Cask (handpump) @ The Grove, 2 Spring Grove Street, West Yorkshire, Huddersfield, England HD1 4BP. [ As Quantum Imperial Stout Espresso ].Clear dark black brown colour with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly to fully lasting, beige to light brown head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, roasted, burnt, strong coffee, coffee, espresso. Flavor is heavy sweet and bitter with a long duration, burnt malt, espresso bitter, charcoal burnt. Body is medium to medium full, texture is oily, carbonation is soft to flat. [20120121]

Cask at NWAF, 2013. Brown pour with a light beige head. Chocolate and raisin aroma. Rich flavours, toffee, lots of citrus fruit. Very nice.
