Halifax Beer Festival 2023. Darker golden juice colour and appearance. Hoppy hazy, citrus tropical-fruity in design, some citric bitterness about it.

Tap at Acido Acida 2023, Ferrara, Italy. Pours loaded gold, transparent, with fine white foam. Aroma is malty, sweetish like candy. Body and carbonation are average. Taste is a little weird, sweetish, but short.

Tap at Brewdog Oxford. White stout. Golden colour and tiny white head. Bready, even worty aroma, also hazelnut. Light-bodied. Fruits, lots of hazelnut, chocolate, wort in the flavour. Very odd.

Bottle from Arcade Beers, Huddersfield. Orange-gold with a very small head. Fruity, lots of bitterness, orange evident, edging towards sourness. Not a huge amount of Weizen styling for me.

Skipton Beer Festival 2023. Crisp keg pour and hazy golden. Has a piney-fruitiness in equal measure, with its flavour tropical in design and sweet in nature.

Skipton Beer Festival 2023. Black-brown coloured keg pour. Has some coconut notes, there's some sweetness to these too, which gets a tad overbearing in taste as this is not a regular dark brew despite its appearance. Is palatable enough though from keg.

On tap at The Rake, pours black with a small tan head. Aroma brings out medium roast, lots of lactose and sweetened cocoa. Flavour is sour, with lactose, sourness, and cocoa. Why is this sour? This is lifeless and uncoordinated. Very poor.

17/2/2023. Cask, courtesy of danlo, cheers Ed. Pours hazy pale orange with a small frothy off-white head. Aroma of tomato, herbs, celery stick, chicken salt. Quite heavy sweetness comes through after initial tart kick, with developing tabasco spiced burn and some saltiness. Moderate body, oily, soft carbonation. For what it's trying to get to it's good but wouldn't want it again.
