On taster at tap room. Pours black as night. Burnt malt nose. Great milky mouthfeel. Almost no sweetness which makes for a more intriguing milk stout. Would happily sup slowly.

440ml can into pint glass. Thanks to Ratebeer and Beer Cartel. Pours a hazy golden amber with a nice solid white head. Subtle nose of caramel and pineapple, guava, orange. Lush mouthfeel, real smooth. Light effervescence and flavours of orange and caramel. Finish is nicely balanced with bitter orange notes and drying woodiness. Excellent beer, easy to drink and full of flavour.

Can. Gold with a huge white head. Aroma is doughy with oranges and spices. Lightish bodied, pretty fizzy even for a saison. Crackery with a slightly harsh spicy yeast feel to it (like a bit much dried coriander). Citrusy hops and moderate bitterness. Not bad at all.

Tap. Pours purple red. A little vanilla on nose with the cherry. Not getting any vanilla taste, which makes for a very middle ground experience, as cherry is neither sweet nor sour. Fine but dull.

Pale yellow. Soon flat, with a somewhat oily mouthfeel, not viscous but greasy. Capsicum and paprika nose with a little orange. Like a flat lager with chilli burn. Not as bad as it sounds, but not that repeatable either.

Tap at the Catfish, Melbourne. Poured a hazy orange golden colour with a thin broken white head. The aroma is yeast, melon, watery cucumber, light herbal. The flavour is light sour, with a crisp, watery, big dry chill spice palate. Medium to light bodied with average to soft carbonation. When they say spicy they really mean it. A massive chilli kick in the finish. A real palate burner!

Schooner on tap at Club Rivers, Riverwood. Pours a pale amber with a thin creamy white head. Nice lacing. High fine carbonation. Subdued nose of fruit and pine, a little biscuit too. Smooth yet zingy, creamy and bitter. Taste and finish have notes of wood, fruit, and malt. It's complex but also easy-drinking. A great enigmatic beer.

From a 440ml can on 19/7/2019. Pours a clear deep golden with a small head. Has a surprisingly muted nose. Light fruit, light malt. Flavour wise, it's quite sweet up front - caramel and biscuit, and citrus and stone fruit with an odd, slightly chemical, vegetal bitterness finishing things off. The texture is slightly syrupy, the carbonation softish. Interesting in some ways but ultimately a touch harsh.
