From a 440ml can on 21/7/2026. Pours a deep brown with a medium light tan head. The nose is mainly smokey with a bit of roastiness. Smokey and roasty on the sip too, with a touch of coffee permeating throughout. Fullish body with moderate carbonation. Nice if a touch subdued.

I picked this up in Australia… in my Advent Calendar (Day 18).
Batch Brewing Elsie the Milk Stout 4.4%
Nice charcoal black color with thick tan foam and a savory chocolate aroma. Great smooth full body with a balanced chocolate malt flavor with just hints of roastiness to balance it out.
Less sweet than expected so they deftly used the lactose. Well done.

On tap at brewery. Now 6.8%. Opaque red/pink beer with a creamy pink head. Nose is Berry Milkshake. Nice lacing, smooth texture. Tangy fruit to start, creamy lingering malt to finish. Very nice, a lot of fun. Great beer.

Pint on tap at brewery. Pale amber beer with a nice head of white foam on top. High fine carbonation. Fruity nose. Refreshing, quaffable. Medium body. Bitter hoppy finish gives a good balance. Standard West Coast IPA, but nicely done.
