330ml bottle. Clear, orangey, deep golden colour with average, frothy, fairly lasting, minimally lacing, white head. Floral, mildly herbal and slightly grassy, hoppy aroma, a touch of mint and woodruff. Taste is quite identical on a mellow caramel and biscuity malty basis; soft palate, gentle carbonation. A bit too well-behaved but with subtle qualities.

330ml bottle. Clear, orangey golden colour with small to average, thick, frothy, fairly lasting, minimally lacing, white head. Somehow neutral, minimally sweet-ish, pale malty aroma, a biscuity touch, mildly floral hoppy overtones, suggested fruitiness with gooseberry touch. Taste is initially minimally sweet, biscuity malty, later quite bitter, minimally herbal and chalky hoppy, cautious hints of gooseberry, a touch of thistle.

330ml bottle. Fantastic, clear, brown-ish ruby red colour with average, frothy, fairly lasting, minimally lacing, off-white head. Mineral, unspecific fruity, hoppy aroma, malty basis with hints of caramel, a touch of toffee, nuts, nougat. Taste is slightly roasty, nuttily and caramel malty, bitter hoppy overtones, a mineral touch, unspecific fruitiness close to black cherries, cautious hints of dark chocolate. Too weak and minimally tinny malty basis doesn’t allow full development of the flavours present.

(Bottle) Clear golden. Lovely aroma - sweet, honey, floral some vanilla and butter notes. Medium body, slight hint of stickiness. Not too sweet, but clearly honey sweetness. Pleasant balancing acidity. Some complex notes - yeast and butter hints. Very pleasant mead.

Draft at the Bottle Shop Bermondsey. Pours mostly clear gold with a frothy white head. The aroma holds ripe citrus fruits, pale bread, crackers, pine needles. Medium sweet flavor with more crackery pale malts, lightly oily pine, orange rind, faint bitter grass. Medium bodied with average carbonation. Lightly resinous on the finish with more crackery pale malts, bitter grass and pine, rindy citrus. Tasty enough but perhaps a little faded.

Bottle from Braedon at PP. Aroma is pleasant pine hoppiness - not too strong but bigger than anticipated, especially smelling from bottle. Taste starts out just bland and crisp but some good piney flavors. Very crisp. Not bad

330ml bottle into schooner glass. Distant hop nose, a little bread perhaps. Clear golden beer with solid white head. A few bubbles. Cleansing bitter taste. Finish is good. Early maltiness is overtaken by increasing hop bitterness then a floral hop note right at the end. I could drink another one of these right now.

330ml bottle. Pours clear golden yellow. Faint hops nose. Corny unbalanced taste. This ale hints at many things, but doesn’t have the courage to strike for it. Odd.
