Very nice sweet Stout. Aroma is slightly subdued with lots of Cocoa, coffee, and dark malt. Average body and carbonation. Flavor is where this beer really shines with characteristics like aroma plus lots of complementary spices.

Flaske fra Kihoskh, avnydt på midtrabatten på Sønder Boulevard siste kveld i Dronningens by: kraftfull humleprofil med rikelig av harpiks, karamellsødme, furunål, våt skogbunn og milde citrusfrukter. Lang bitterhet i ettersmaken. Men noe ufrisk. Dufter bedre enn det smaker. Bb151017.

355ml bottle from Kihoskh. BBE 290517. Pours dark orange with a thick white head. Aroma of herbal hops, pine, resin and grass. Taste is sweet, herbal hoppy and caramely malty with some aged notes, pine, resin and grass. Finish is sweet, caramely malty and cardboardy with some old herbal hops, pine and resin. Not very fresh, unfortunately.

Bomber from Bine & Vine. Pours very dark brown with a slight dark tan head. Aroma is sort of mildly spicy chocolate/lactose. Not quite milk chocolate. Reminding of the pieces of chocolate used to make Mexican hot chocolate. Full bodied. Flavor is very dark chocolate, very. There’s an earthiness, yet a sort of lactose aspect, and there seems to be very light cinnamon/spice. It is not dry. It is earthy, and sort of dark chocolate bitter. Heat isn’t detectable for me. This is heavy duty, flavor wise. Not chili or anything. Just intense flavor.

Bomber from CraftShack. Pours brown with a light tan head. Aroma of chocolate and perhaps walnuts. Near full bodied. Starts roasty malt with chocolate, gets a bit earthy, acquires a walnut aspect and leaves a bit of honey on my lips. Not really bitter - just enough to take care of any excess sweetness. Walnut - maybe black walnut - sort of coats the mouth. Mildly. Not a trace of heat for me. Not a style I usually enjoy, but this one is good!
