Cask at North Laine. It pours black with a decent tan head. The aroma is intoxicating sweetness, sugary, slightly artificial, milk chocolate, fudge, toffee and tangy dark fruits. The taste is initially rather sweet, sticky, milk chocolate, chocolate brownie, tangy dark fruits, rich roast, charred, burnt malt, earthy with a dry, charred finish. Medium body and soft carbonation. Comes across a bit burnt. Fair.

Cask at North Laine. It pours clear golden with a thick, foamy white head. The aroma is pungent hop action, sweaty, grapefruit, sweet lemon and biscuit. The taste is crisp, clean, bitter, pine needles, pretty juicy, lemon sherbet, grapefruit, resin, straw, brioche and biscuit with a firm, dry finish. Medium body and fine carbonation. Decent cask IPA. Rather drinkable.

Keg at Four Thieves. It pours clear amber with a medium white head. The aroma is rich, sweet, big manure character, farmyard, dirt, hay bay, sulphur, sweet stone fruit, apricot and peach. The taste is crisp, bitter, grainy, cereal, wood, resin, manure, eggy, earth, filth and soapy citrus with a dry, grainy finish. Medium body and fine, prickly carbonation. Definitely not right... Loads of manure about it. This is obviously proper bullocks-up. Will re - rate if I see it again.

Draft at London Brewers’ Market. Pours mostly clear bright gold with a frothy white cap. Perfume in the nose, zesty citrus. Light sweet flavour with biscuity pale mal, light citrus rind, hay, tangerine. Light bodied with average carbonation. Decent balance in the finish, some white bread crust, more biscuits. Drinkable gear.
