Cask at The Swan, Sidmouth. Poured a clear medium amber colour with a lasting frothy off white head. The aroma is malt, light toffee caramel. The flavour is over moderate bitter, with a rich malt, toffee, floral, big woody hop bitter palate and a long bitter finish. Medium bodied with soft carbonation.

Cask at the Squirrel, Penn Street, 03/07/21 ... as ‘Squirrels T’ale’. Clear golden amber with a decent white head. Nose is toasted grains, light citric drizzle, floral tones, grass, biscuit. Taste comprises grass, lemon tinged straw, grains, crackers, light perfumed notes. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, light drying close spiked with subtle leafy bitterness. Decent enough cask offering.

Hazy copper colour with fairly strong carbonation. Aroma and flavour have plenty of orange and grapefruit zesty notes.
