Bottle from the Bottle Bank. Appearance - golden amber with a decent head. Nose - honey and cereal. Taste - more of the same. Sugar puffs. A bit grainy. Palate - close to medium bodied with a creamy texture and a fairly good finish. Overall - itโs ok but it gets tiresome.

Bottle from the Bottle Bank. Appearance - golden amber with a decent head. Nose - butterscotch straight away. Struggling to get through that to get a hint of pale malt and citrus. Taste - honey and pale malt. Perhaps citrus. Palate - light to medium bodied with a creamy texture and a fairly good finish but if itโs a lager the one thing it must do is refresh. Overall - this generally fails as a lager.

Clear yellow golden colour, small bubbly white head, disappears quickly, some lacing. Malty nose, grain, orange, yeast, floral hops. Light sweetbitter taste, bit flat. Light to medium body, oily to watery texture, soft carbonation, light bitter finish, hint of lemon, nice.

Bottle. Amber in colour with next to no head and slight carbonation. Aroma of crisp cereal malts with a hint of hedgerow fruits. Easy drinking with more solid malts, a touch of sweet rusk and decent bitter finish. Good.

Bottle drank on hols in St Ives. Hazy amber beer with a small white head. Palate is smooth and fairly dry. Modest carbonation. Light and semi dry pale malt. Very mild fruits - appley orange. Itโs not a green beer though. Quite a dry finish. Inoffensive but very basic.

Bottle drank on hols in St Ives. Almost clear amber beer, residual white head. Palate is minerally crisp. Smooth dry malt. Unsweet caramel and a whisper of marmite. Mellow ripe orange. Finishes dry with a carbonated nip. Okay.

Bottle brought home from a trip to Cornwall. Golden yellow colour, very slightly hazy, with a decent sized white head. Hoppy aroma, grass and hay, with citrus notes. Good taste, slight bitterness, right level of sweetness. Medium body, soft carbonation. Enjoyed this.

Bottle on Rugby Corroi night @20MR thanks to SP, 06/03/13. Clear pale golden with a thin white head. Nose is malt, grain, cereal, touch of caramel, citrus. Taste comprises pale malt, light citrus, grass. Medium bodied, moderate carbonation, some bitterness in the finish. A pretty (touch below) average trad bitter.
