Cask at Weymouth Oktoberfest. Aroma is big and fruity. Hazy-opaque brown. Thick foamy beige head. Initial tangy berry lead followed by dark dough malt. Spice. Medium bodied. Slick to creamy. Average carbonation. Long dry astringent finish. Characterful ESB.

Cask-conditioned at the Cornubia, Bristol 8/1/2020. Near black in colour, with a frothy, off-white, head. Caramel, milk chocolate, a touch liquorice, some leafy hops, leading to a toasty, rich, finish. Good.

Cask-conditioned at the Cornubia, Bristol 27/7/2018. Deep brown in colour, with reddish undertones and a slight, off-white, head. Rich, brown sugar, sweetness, hint of toastiness, red berries and a gentle finish. A good mild.

Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, roasted, sweet malt, toffee - fudge. Flavor is moderate sweet and bitter with a long duration, sweet malt, toffee, roasted, dark malt.
