Cask @ The Royal Oak, Shrewsbury. Pours a lightly misty gold, thin white head. Pale, doughy malt aroma. Taste is light harmless stuff, soft yeast, pale malts, no discernible hops, despite the description declaring this ’one for the hopheads’. It’s not. Quite bland.

Tried at the 2016 Nottingham Beer Festival. I guess i should have known, I’m not a fan of earl grey tea, and only realised once purchased. The tea is overpowering in the aroma and taste, I couldn’t finish the third i bought.

Cask at Chippenham Beer Festival. Amber. Straw and earth. Your average twiggy brown bitter, albeit one verging on the rough-and-ready side.
