Pounder: Pencil shavings, caramel, and kibble nose. Hazy orange, thick yellow head, nice lace. Wood, dried leaves, grapefruit peel. Slightly vegetal and stale. Light body, soft carbonation. Can is undated, but I would imagine this beer has some age.

Pounder: Hay and soil, pecan, and tart lemongrass nose. Clear amber, thick head. Hay, soil, and ash. Grassy finish. Medium body, moderate carbonation. North Carolina may have better BBQ, but Virginia's kolsches are better.
