Roasty and a bit boozy, but mostly very thin. Flavourwise just getting some roast and. Tad of light whiskey, some chocolate, bit of coffee, nothing impressive going on here. If the body would have been better, it might have supported more flavour. Alas.

Pretty thin, pity. Flavourwise the slight roast works well with blackberry, and those flavours are fairly subdued. Not much else going on, unfortunately. Could do with more of stuff.

A pretty traditional DIPA; clear, a bit piney and fairly citrussy. Some bitterness, quite easy drinking. Might be better on its own, but on this occasion it's very forgottable for me. Nothing interesting about it, just fairly decent beer.

Fles gedeeld met Roelzie. Romy, Meindert en Lieke. Het is een oranje bruin bier met weinig schuim. Het aroma is alcohol achtig. De smaak is moutig en hoppig met een vreemd zuurtje.

330ml bottle. Slightly milky, orangey, dark golden to amber colour with average to huge, frothy, moderately lasting, minimally lacing, white head. Herbal-spicy and minimally dusty, yeasty aroma, minimally phenolic, fruity hints of apricot and peach, some orange peel, some clove, a minimally soapy touch, waxy, hoppy overtones. Taste is dry, sweet-ish malty, yeasty fruity, slightly citrusy hoppy, notes of peach and apricot, some mandarine, orange, orange zest, a minimally waxy touch, very subtle phenolic and buttery interference; lingering, zesty, minimally waxy, citrusy hoppy finish. Watery texture, minimally dry palate, medium to coarse, prickly carbonation. A bit flawed, hop compensated - OK.

Dark pour with a tan head. Roasted malt, smoke, licorice, espresso, instant coffee, caramel, ash. Surprisingly good, but then again I quite enjoy the base beer, as well - tons of coffee in that one.
