Bottle from Stanislaus Brewskovitch, Zwolle. Malty aroma with caramel, herbal-ish hops, liquorice root, slight hint of fruits, and more herbal notes. Nicely bitter flavour with some sweetness. Body is medium. Mostly herbal, curious beer, hoppy Brown Ale?

Bottle from Stanislaus Brewskovitch, Zwolle. Aroma is dark malt with peat, wood, whiskey, mild iodine, and a hint of chocolate. Flavour is medium sweet and moderate bitter. Body is medium, which is insufficient relative to the aroma. Kinda nice, but this really needed a bigger flavour and body.

330ml bottle. Opalescent, auburn colour with ruby shimmer and minimally late awakening, small to average, creamy, rapidly diminishing, off-white head. Sweet-ish, caramel malty and wheaty malty, slightly yeasty fruity aroma, notes of honey, dark honey, some banana, baked banana. Taste is sweet, wheaty malty, caramel malty and slightly yeasty fruity, notes of honey, dark honey, a touch of banana, weak, bitter hoppy overtones, a minimally alcoholic touch. Oily to viscous texture, smooth and soft palate, fine, soft to flat carbonation. Simple and monotonous, sweet, almost a bit insipid - not really convincing.

Deep thick grainy bitter beginning. Easy to drink, tons of caramel and fruity grain. Roasted sugars, caramel, heavy alcoholic cherries. Wood. Great, deep and rich. Dessert-like.
