Description
Rigters is een ambachtelijke bierbrouwerij gevestigd in een oude kaasboerderij direct naast Pannenkoekenhuis De Hooge Esch in Buurse. Het werken met de mooiste ingrediënten, bieren met karakter en net even anders dan anders!

In 2011 is Maarten Nijhof, samen met zijn toenmalige compagnon Joris, Brouwerij Rigters gestart. Een fulltime baan en een groeiend bedrijf heeft Maarten in 2017 doen besluiten zich voor 100% te richten op de brouwerij en heeft hij zijn baan opgezegd.

Bottle. Golden color. Slightly herbal citric aroma. Grass, hint of tea, lemon powder. Sweetish, almost powdery citric flavor. Hint of banana. Zuurballen. Pleasant.

Bottle. Deep dark brown color. Roast, citrus and raisin in the aroma. Malty sweet flavor with roast and lemon. Licorice. Low on carbon. Has potential, could be better.

Bottle. Dark brown color. Caramel and raisin in the aroma. Wheat, rye, caramel, milk chocolate, raisin and a hint of banana in the flavor. Hazelnuts. Nice, but lacks a hop bite.

Bottle. Dark brown color. Soft roast and citrus in the aroma. Malty sweetish citric flavor with licorice and herbal hops. Pleasant roasty finish.

Bottle. Deep dark brown color, malt, caramel, raisin and a hint of peat in the aroma. Full bodied, malty sweet, milky, soft peaty flavor. Hint of chocolate. Decent.

Bottle. Golden color. Orange, banana sweets and floral notes in the aroma and flavor. Malty sweet. Low on carbon. Not unpleasant, but not flawless.

Bottle. Golden color. Herbal aroma with some tropical fruit. Herbal hopbitter flavor. Some oily notes. Hiidden fruit. Sharp and leavy. Low on carbon.

Bottle. Brown c9lor. Caramel, tobacco and a hint of peat in the aroma and flavor. Low on carbon. Malty sweetish. Cigars and oak in the finish.

Bottle. Amber color. Overripe fruit, white pepper and floral notes in the aroma. Oily hops. Orange na ripe tropical fruit in the flavor. Hints of roast and caramel. Tasty for its modest ABV. Nice.

Tap @ Cross Border Festival Enschede. Murky brown color. Very fresh and not ready yet for bottling. Yeast, caramel and banana and some grassy hops in the aroma. Wheaty sweet flavor with caramel, a hint of citrus and grassy hops in the flavor. Milk chocolate. Too young but promising.
