Bottle from Beer Heaven. Normal looking pour, small tight head. Sweet, roasty aroma, minor woody barrel notes. Taste comes on smooth, warm, mild bitterness. Velvety. Really nice .

22oz bottle pours a mostly clear orange with some frothy, white head. Nose has orange, tangerine, herbs, pine. Flavor has the same, pine, soap, tangerine, orange, some malt and honey here finally. Finishes bitter, mostly full bodied but dry.

bottle, rated early 2017 - Hazy amber pour. Aroma of resinous hops and citrus and darker fruit. The hop filled flavor has piney and fruity notes. Solid malt backbone. Really tasty brew.

Flavour is composed of rich cakey malts, soft roast, woody, jammy fruits,. Biting woody roast. Palate is medium full bodied, moderate carbonation, creamy, woody finish.
