Box @ Shrewsbury Hotel, Shrewsbury. Pours hazy yellow, light apple orchard aroma. Taste is mild farmhouse fuzz and some syrupy sour tannins. Ok.

Bag in a box at County Hotel Ashford JDW. Hazy orange gold some white bubbles. Some decent apple character and tannin. Some dryness a little funky tannin. Bit sweet. Giod character though.

Cask hand pull at the moon under water. A hazed pale yellow straw coloured pour with a fleeting white head. Aroma is dry apples, hints of pithy lemon, wood, and plastic. Flavour is composed of hot alcohol, sweet apple, harsh bitterness. Palate is semi sweet and mellow, drying tannin. OK.

BIAB at Tanners Hall JDW Darlington. Hazy yellow gold colour, no head and juicy apple aroma. Taste is mellow fruity apple, sweet, with some earthy barnyard and dry tannin. Slightly oily mouthfeel, medium bodied, low carbonation, very drying finish. Quite drinkable.

Bottle from the cider shop in Cheddar. It pours hazy bright orange. The nose is earthy, musty, tangy apple, apple skin, wood, vanilla custard, farmyard and hay. The taste is dry, funky, farmyard, touch of manure, oak, leather, farmyard, vanilla, sour orange, apple pie, tannins and light astringency with firm, dry finish. Medium body and flat. Pretty dry, but thatโs what I like. Decent oak aged scrumpy.

Bottle from the cider shop in Cheddar. It pours hazy bright orange. The nose is earthy, musty, funky, farmyard, apple skin, wood, light vanilla, marzipan and some apple pie. The taste is dry, bitter - sweet, wood, earth, apple skin, hay, touch of spice and damp leaves with a dry finish. Medium body and slightly oily mouth-feel. Not a huge amount of depth, but I quite like the balance. Decent.

Bottle from the Cider Shop in Cheddar. It pours hazy bright orange with no head. The aroma is earthy, musty, light funk, tangy apple, sour orange, hay and sweet apple pie. The taste is sweet apples upfront, apple pie, tart tatin, marzipan, tannins, candied fruits, earth and wood with a dry finish. Medium body and slick mouth - feel. The aroma is nice and earthy. Taste is a bit sweet for my liking, but it is good for the style.
