Description
Sixpoint was founded in 2004 (we like to say it was born at the dawn of civilization, though that’s a story for another time…) in the rough and tumble neighborhood of Red Hook, BKLYN. It was essentially a cult brewery — draft-only, mysterious, cryptic…
In 2010 we released our canned creations, and have been tweaking, improving, and releasing new formulations ever since. Then in May of 2017, we took our biggest step forward to date, releasing all of our ales raw and unfiltered, and simultaneously incorporating new and incredible raw materials obtained over years of sourcing.
In November 2018, Sixpoint was acquired by Artisanal Brewing Ventures.

Odd tall 12 oz can, that's what thar known fer. Hazy and almost muddy, certainly qualifies as a NEIPA. Feel and taste is viscous mouth coating rude ass contemporary bitter hops. Think thicker, negative nasty nellie. Difficult to get down. Whew. Terrible in yer face and down your throat effects. Sliding, gliding, notoriousness. What is the appeal of these styles, I don't get it, my palate is not ( you select: old/young/experienced/initiated ) enough to appreciate this stuff. Finishes with an unappreciated slight boozy mildly warming sensation. There, you have it. IPA lovers, put this on yer bucket list. WTF, the lacing on this is pretty nice! Overall, big tuff beer experience.

Varnish, caramel, nail polish, guava nose. Opaque pale orange, thin head. Guava, fresh split wood, strong nail polish overtones. Medium body, moderate carbonation, warm. Very chemical, distracting. Something has gone awry with this one.
