Bottle thanks to Ben, shared with others! Poured a cloudy pale gold with an amber hue and a white head that lasted throughout the beer. Aroma was full of funk with a horse blanket note supported by sweet grains and a nice port note. Flavor was similar with funk and sweet grains n a great port note at the finish.

Big thanks to douglas88 for this one. Waxed 75cl bottle pours opaque copper – gold with off white head. The aroma is smooth hay, lemon like acidity, spicy yeast, firm herbal notes and some saltiness. The taste comes across as wheat, lemon and salt to start with and then it gets herbally and apple like to midway. It ends with apple notes and some tartness. The tartness helps to create a somewhat dry finish.

Bottle from Red Rock
Appearance: Crystal clear golden with medium sized foamy white head and good lacing
Aroma: Ripe fruits, bubble gum, dirty socks
Taste: Yeasty, cardboard, medicinal, hot alcohols with a bitter finish
Bad, footbalmed
I picked up 2 bottle of this from Red Rock. I opened the first beer at home, the presentation was beautiful. Clear golden with a medium sized foamy white head and lots of lacing sticking to the glass as I swirled it around. That is where the goodness stopped. After a few sips and trying to understand what was suppose to be happening in this beer, I footbalmed the rest of the glass and bottle.
So, the second bottle I brought to the tasting. Hoping I just had a bad bottle the first time. This one poured cloudy orange with a small white head and some lacing. The aroma and taste was the same as the first one. Footbalmed it again.

Cool squat Red Rock half liter bottle courtesy of douglas88. It pours clear brilliant copper with off white head. The aroma is full of varied spices, caramel malts, prunes, peaches, red apples, cinnamon, nutmeg and more spices. Smells spicy heavy. The taste is full of flavor with various winter spices noted in the nose along with some slick sweet malts and mild sweet caramel notes in the background. All these spices don’t seem to want to come together as it seems a bit jumbled to my palate.
