(sample, bottle) Clear golden. Minimal white head. Sweet, strong floral, spicy. Nice and tasty.

33cl can from Jumbo supermarket in Stein, Netherlands. F: medium, white, average retention. C: gold, hazy. A: ginger, citrus, orange, bit sugary, spicy, Fanta touch. T: medium malty base, light orange lemonade, ginger, spicy, mineral water, nice balanced bitterness, medium carbonation, bit watery but nice natural ginger feeling, enjoyable.

Pours to a hazy amber with tinges of red. 1cm head quick dissipation. Almost noble standard hops on the nose, but with a layer of spice / ginger on top. Fairly high carbonation on the mouth, with the ginger pushing through. Fair warm glow aftertaste from the ginger. Hardly noticable hops in the background. Could have done with a bit more sweetness, more dominant hops or something to back up the fizz and ginger.

Good amber colour, slightly hazy. 1cm stable head with medium retention. Nice nose, floral, elderberry, caramel. Nice in the mouth too. Good hit of malt and floral toffee, carries over into midrange. Drops off a bit too quickly at the end, leaving a slightly watery but faintly bitter and floral notes. At the very end slight bubblegum taste. Well balanced and interesting: the elderberry is just right.

Had it from a nice looking can, not a bottle as pictured. Pale golden, hazy on the pour, audibly reducing porous head. Nice nose, not fruity but with an earthiness similar to noble hops with what is presumably the seaweed on top. Seaweed gives it an earthy sea scent, meaty but it also has lemon and a slight hint of toffee. Pleasant enough in the mouth but without the taste matching the scent. It has a tangy, and carbonated taste, almost like a sour. Restrained mineral notes. A bit cloying on the roof of the mouth but good somehow.

Can 33cl. from a local AH supermarket @home poured into a shaker. Strong mango nose, Hazy pale golden colour, good yet loose frothy white head, half-way lasting, good lacing. Aroma pale malt, mango, lemon notes, aromatic hops. Taste medium sweet and light bitter, malty, mango, lemon peel. Medium body, watery to oily texture, soft carbonation, mild dry sweetbitter aftertaste, albeit quite short, mineral notes, refreshing, quite nice.

(Draught at In De Wildeman, Amsterdam, 9 Aug 2023) Golden colour with frothy, white head. Fruity, herbal nose with notes of bread, hay, herbs and green apples. Fruity, spicy taste with bread, hay, green apples, herbs and a touch of yeast. Low bitterness. Medium body, with a slight sweetness. Interesting, and quite refreshing. Nice one.

Beer In A Box Advent Calendar 2023 5/24, thuis geprobeerd met LiekevdV. Het is een troebel geel bier met een volle witte schuimkraag. Het heeft een aroma van koriander. De smaak is fris, kruidig met tonen van koriander en kaneel en een kruidige afdronk.
