Description
As San Diego's first and only Brewery/Winery/Restaurant, we pride ourselves on putting everything we have into the things we do and push the boundaries of creative products to share with our guests.
Our beers are focused on drinkability, merging inspirational flavors from our restaurant and winery to create one of a kind products.
Our tasting room is attached to our restaurant, The Cork and Craft. We're open every day except for Monday, including lunch during the work week, and brunch on Sundays. We not only offer our own beers on tap, but many other guest beers from around the world that we share our 40 taps with. We feature flights of our own beers which can be enjoyed in the bar, restaurant or on our heated outdoor patio.
Come in for the beer, stay for the food, and discover your Abnormal side.

On tap at Abnormal, pours black with a small tan head. Aroma brings out intense roasted malt, dry cocoa nibs and very subdued toasted nuts. Flavour is robust, with loads of roasted malt upfront, followed by a bit of cocoa nibs and toasted nuts. Rich, roasted malt with a nice bitter finish. Excellent.

On tap at Abnormal, pours a cloudy dark amber / burgundy with a small beige head. Aroma brings out rich resinous hops, loads of pine, and dry bready caramel malt. Flavour is both malty and hoppy, with loads of piney hops, sticky resins, bready malt and caramel. Dry, piney, resinous and just malty enough. Beautiful stuff.

On tap at Abnormal, pours a hazy bright blonde with a small white head. Nose is very hoppy, with intense white wine tanginess from the Nelson, sharp piney hops, bitter grapefruit peel, and crisp biscuity malt. Sharp, pine, tangy and somewhat vinous. Love this hop character. Biting, bitter and elegant. Lovely.

On tap at Abnormal, pours a bright golden with a small white head. Aroma brings out major, bright lemon notes without any real residual sugar or notice of the adjuncts. Flavour is much the same, with puckering lemon, moderate acidity and again no notice of the cinnamon or vanilla. Bright and puckering. Solid for what it is.

On tap at Abnormal, pours a hazy blonde with a small white head. Aroma brings out intense vanilla and lime upfront, followed by cinnamon and lactose. Flavour hits the side of the mouth intensely, with loads of lime, gentle vanilla and cinnamon. Very sour and puckering as hell. Fun stuff but nothing special.

Can from Trader Joe's Foothills branch, Pasadena. Pours hazy golden and a firm white head with good retention. Aroma's: dank hops, some sweet'n'sour fruit, resin initially. Retronasal it's dank, fruity, resinous. Flavour is light moderate bitter, fruity, juicy, but hardly sweet. Medium bodied. Creamy mouthfeel. Light to moderate hopburn. finishes light moderate bitter.

On-tap in the Beach Hut Deli, Mission Viejo on 23rd February 2022, my 16oz pour had no head, just a wispy white scum on top of the cloudy dull golden body. Dank and fruity hop aroma/taste, grapefruit and pineapple semi-sweet overall.
