330ml bottle bought at Corks of Cotham. Details from historic tasting notes. Pours lightly hazed deep amber with a decent sized white head. Aroma: citrus, orange, pine. Taste: moderate malty, moderate bitter & light sweet, citrus zest, more orange, piney hop. Medium bodied, generous carb, dry lingering finish. A lovely IPA. No surprise that the brewer has moved on to bigger and better things at LHG. Go Rich!

Bottle brought back from a trip to Bristol a while ago, bought at Beer Emporium. Poured dark brown with a small beige head. Aroma of chocolate, roasted malts, dark fruits and vanilla. Medium sweetness and medium plus roasted bitterness. Medium to full body, slick texture, soft carbonation. Very nice, and shame if it’s no longer in production.

Keg at Small Bar, Bristol. It pours cloudy deep orange - brown with a decent white head. The nose is rich, juicy, oily, tropical fruit punch, peach, mango, papaya, orange chewits, earth, pine and resin. The taste is powerful bitterness, resinous, pine, alcohol boost, earth, grapefruit, orange peel, mango, peach, papaya, guava and spice with a lingering bitter finish. Medium+ body and fine carbonation. Packs a bunch that’s for sure. Pretty great all in all.

Wakefield Beer Festival 2015. Strongish tasting but it is hoppy with a light fruitiness and flavoursome we enough.

Keg at Small Bar - Bristol. Pours clear gold with a creamy white head. Rich wheaty biscuits on the nose, slight banana chips, hay. Light-medium sweet flavor with more rich wheat biscuits, bread, year, light citrus, ripening bananas. Medium bodied with average carbonation. Finishes sweet, with more hearty wheat bread, mild citrus fruit, touches of grain, banana, touches of clove. Very enjoyable.

Bottle from Corks of North Street, Bristol. Slightly hazy gold in colour with a thin, white, head. Aroma of perfumed, floral, hops and sweet malts. Similar in the mouth, with a touch of pepper and some hops in the finish. Good.

On tap at the Tobacco Factory’s Factoberfest, Bristol, September. My notes on this one are sparse, but this was golden with a decent, white, head. Sweetish, honeyed, malts, some yeastiness and perfumed aroma, before a gentle finish. Fine.

Bottle from Corks of Cotham. It pours hazy deep red-amber with medium off-white head. The nose is earthy, brown bread, caramel, pepper, soap and orange marmalade. The taste is bitter, earthy, wood, resin, alcohol, orange, grapefruit peel and pepper with a dry, resinous finish. Medium+ body and fine carbonation. A bit too malt-driven for my liking. So-so.

Bottle from Corks of North Street, Bristol. Hazy deep copper, with a short-lived beige head. Dense aroma of red berry fruits, caramel and grassy hops. Flavour Was malt upfront, before some massive hoppy notes of pine, red currants and orange peel, before a big, boozy finish. A different take on an IPA, which I enjoyed.
