Chelmsford Beer Festival. Very slight haze on this gold beer. No real head. Light dry palate. Nice lemon from the Sorachi Ace. A little orangey fruit coming through with very mild honey. Dry finish. A pleasant and flavoursome beer. Great to see Sorachi Ace slipping in to more mainstream breweries!

Cask at CPK, Pimlico on 10th June 2011. Amber gold with white lacing head. Richly fruity and hoppy with citrus and fresh berries blending with grassy hempy hop, both in aroma and liquid, with a lasting hoppy finish and growing back-of-mouth bitterness. Zingy mouthfeel. Excellent. Ended up having a second pint despite being on a "tasting" session.
