Cask at EBF Summer 22. Aroma has citrus and fried onions from the grill. A slight haze to the dark gold body. A few translucent white bubbles cling to the rim. Very sour. Lemon and sherbert. Light. Thin. Flat carbonation. Long dry astringent finish. I like this. Way more punchy than expected.

[ As Windy Westerly ].Clear medium orange color with a small, frothy - fizzy and open, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, pale malt, fruity, wood notes. Flavor is moderate sweet with a average duration, sweet malt, fruity, sweet tobacco - wood, orange notes. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft to flat. [20141205]

Cask-conditioned, on gravity, at the Tucker’s Maltings Beer Festival, 15/4/2016. Near black in colour, with a decent, beige, head. Aroma of chocolate, vanilla oak and roasted malts. Flavour had more chocolate, some berry sweetness and toasty malts, before a dryish finish. Good.
